2010 RULES
Updated 1-20-2010 

General:
Snowmobiles built 1975 or earlier can be 1976 model year if built in 1975
Must be 18yrs old to race
Must wear approved snell helmet
Must wear approved chest protection.
Must have 144sq inches of race orange on front and back of jacket
Must have working teather at all times(will be enforced)
Must have working tail light at start of race (does not have to work off motor)
Must have warm up stand with back and sides.
Must have rear sno flap at all times
When refueling you must shut off motor(at all races)
No changing of motors during the race
Max 5 drivers per team
Must have fire extinguisher in pits at all times
Any stock OEM fuel tank ok
Qualifying will determine starting spot 

Chassis:
Built 1975 or earlier (1976 model if  built in 1975)
Must have unaltered leaf spring front end (3”ski spreaders ok)
No widening of  front ski spindle frames
You may tilt steering post but must remain in stock location at bulkhead
May alter handle bars and seat for driver comfort
Any OEM rear suspension allowed Max travel of 6” measured from swing arm to suspension stops with sled off the ground. Must have suspension stops.

 Engine:
350cc or less single cylinder naturally aspirated engine(370 Sachs ok)max overbore .040
Tuned pipe is ok on non reed motors
All exhaust must exit bottom of bulkhead(no side exit of any kind)
Must have working silencer (will be checked)
Any size diaphragm carb may be used or 38mm max.VM38 mikuni round slide carb is legal must be stock bore.
Engines must be 1975 or older model, oem snowmobile engine
Reed motors can have any oem snowmobile stock exhaust.  No stroker cranks
Must have working original fan cooling system bolted to flywheel.
Ignition-cdi or points. 

 Skis:

Metal or plastic skis ok, ski hoops on metal ski’s must have wrapped to 1 inch diameter.
5/8”max runner height
6”steering carbide max.,1 runner only,must be in center of ski
Carbide no sharper than 60 degrees

 Clutches:

Any stock primary clutch 1975 or older allowed or 94c, power bloc, 102c, or p-85 clutch. allowed stock!!
Any secondary clutch allowed no roller clutches of any kind 

Track:

Molded rubber only, any size any year,no cleats of any kind ,no studs,no traction control devices of any kind 

Protests:

Race director has final say on all protests,you have 15 min to protest a team after the race.You must state your protest to the race director and produce $100.00 cash.If the protested team was determined legal they will receive the $100.00,if they were illegal they will be disqualified and you will receive you $100.00 back.
Timing and scoring is not protest able. 

Registration fees:

$250.00 for 1 qualifying attempt $20.00 for each additional attempt.You will receive a $25.00 (depending on promotor) discount if pre-registered and paid in full  2 weeks before the race.
